Closed-cell vinyl foam products include the ability to make a long life seal against air, moisture, and light and dust penetration, when compressed 30% or more.
PVC insulates in thermal, electrical and sound applications.
Low Density PVC
V700 Series
This economical general purpose foam tape is manufactured for use in applications requiring positive seals on irregular surfaces or when flex and conformability to seal tight radius curves are critical considerations. This material is a self extinguishing formulation that meets FMVSS 302A Specifications. This material is available with or without an acrylic adhesive. Low density PVC is also available cast onto a 1.5 mil polyester film to provide dimensional stability, reducing stretching of the foam, reduce wear and to prevent sticking to surfaces. This material is inherently resistant to fire, ultraviolet rays, most chemicals, and solvents.
