Cork and Rubber
Composition Cork and cork and rubber are excellent gasket materials manufactured by binding composition cork and introducing rubber in cork and rubber products. Rubber polymers available include neoprene and nitrile as well as more exotic elastomeric alloys such as viton & silicone.

Blaylock Gasket & Packing stocks different gauges of cork and cork and rubber in different rubber binders. We also have access to any polymers your requirements specify. Cork and rubber gaskets are used in a variety of applications including the automotive, railroad, aviation and agricultural machinery industries.

Additionally these materials can be used for gasketing purposes for machinery, pumps, meters, transformers and public utilities to name a few applications.

BC351
Specs
Medium density reclaimed Cork/Rubber material. Economical material for use in applications where very mild heat and/or very mild fluid resistance.
CR55R
Specs
Cork/Synthetic rubber, economical, with good oil and fuel sealing properties, and resistance to environmental deterioration. Used in natural gas meters.
CR75
Specs
Cork/Hypalon rubber, medium compressibility. Good heat, ozone, and oil resistance. Used for OE oil and transmission pan gaskets.
GT580
Specs
A high quality, medium compressible, Cork/EPDM rubber material. Compounded specially for ozone, weathering, and heat resistance.
GT590
Specs
A high quality, low compressible, Cork/Viton material. Used in applications where high heat resistance is required.
HC50
Specs
Cork/Nitrile rubber, high compressibility. Good oil and fuel resistance. Offers low swell in fuels and oils. Excellent choice where bolt pressures are low.
HC60
Specs
Cork/Nitrile rubber, medium compressibility. Good oil and fuel resistance. Performs well with fuel and oil under medium bolt pressure.
HC80
Specs
Cork/Nitrile rubber, low compressibility. Performs well with fuel and oil exposure under high bolt pressure. Recommended in fuel pumps and meters.
M711
Specs
Cork/Synthetic rubber. Certifiable to SAE-AMS-C-6183 Type 1, Class 1, Grade A.
M712
Specs
Cork/Synthetic rubber. Certifiable to SAE-AMS-C-6183 Type 1, Class 1, Grade B.

Specs

Cork/Neoprene rubber, red in color. Good oil resistance. Used where flange irregularity occurs, under low sealing pressure.
NC60
Specs
Cork/Neoprene rubber, medium compressibility. Good oil resistance. Used in air or refrigeration compressors, among other applications.
NC80
Specs
Cork/Neoprene rubber, low compressibility. Good oil resistance. High tensile strength and low compression set. Use with high bolt pressure.
NCA45
Specs
Cork/Synthetic rubber, medium oil resistance. Used in most automotive aftermarket sealing applications including valve covers, oil pans, and transmission pans.
NCA50
Specs
Cork/Synthetic rubber, economical with good oil resistance. General purpose sealing material used in a variety of applications.
SG630
Specs
Cork/Vamac rubber, low compressibility. Good heat, and low temperature resistance. Used for sealing higher flange loads.
SG700
Specs
Cork/Silicone rubber, high quality, with moderate resistance to fluids. Well suited where operational temperatures are extremely high or low.
SP50
Specs
Cork/Nitrile sponge rubber, highly compressible. Good oil resistance. It’s softness provides good sealing properties under low flange pressures.
SP51
Specs
Cork/Hypalon sponge rubber, high compressibility. Good heat and oil resistance. It’s softness provides good sealing properties under low flange pressures.
SP52
Specs
Cork/Neoprene sponge rubber. Moderate oil resistance. Used in oil sealing in low torque applications. Also used for die ejection, cushioning, and anti-vibration.
SP74
Specs
Cork/SBR sponge rubber. Highly compressible. Used for die ejection, noise reduction, matting, cushioning, and fatigue and compression mats.
