Neoprene, EPDM, SBR Blend (RE41E, RE42E, RE43E)
This material is an economical seal with excellent compression. This material can be used to absorb shocks cushion, deaden sound and seal against, air moisture and light and dust penetration. The blend of Neoprene and EPDM makes this material moderately resistant to oil and ozone. With a higher content of EPDM than Neoprene this product is resistant to more chemicals and ozone than the SCE41B. However it doesn’t have as good a resistance to oil products. RE41E is a soft density material. RE42E is a soft-medium density material. RE43E is a medium density material. Please refer to the chart for specs and technical data. Please contact us for recommendations on any chemical resistance.
EPDM Foam (RE41EPT, RE42EPT, RE43EPT)
A material with similar characteristics to the blended material above. This material is a pure EPDM sponge and will meet more mil-specs than the blended product and has a much better resistance to chemicals and ozone. Please contact us with questions regarding chemical compatibility.

- PVC insulates in thermal, electrical and sound applications.
Low Density PVC
V700 Series
This economical general purpose foam tape is manufactured for use in applications requiring positive seals on irregular surfaces or when flex and conformability to seal tight radius curves are critical considerations. This material is a self extinguishing formulation that meets FMVSS 302A Specifications. This material is available with or without an acrylic adhesive. Low density PVC is also available cast onto a 1.5 mil polyester film to provide dimensional stability, reducing stretching of the foam, reduce wear and to prevent sticking to surfaces. This material is inherently resistant to fire, ultraviolet rays, most chemicals, and solvents.

Closed Cell Viton Sponge
# 1028 Sponge is a closed cell sponge formulation that is manufactured with a continuous skin on both sides. The skin makes the sponge stronger and more tear resistant. Even when the skin is punctured or cut, the sheets will not allow passage of air or fluid between cells. The non-absorbent sheets are highly compressible, resilient, light weight and provide good thermal insulation.
Like dense Viton sheet, #1028 Sponge is generally resistant to aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, oils, fuels, ozone and weather, lubricants and animal or vegetable oils. It is also resistant to acids and hot water.
#1028 Sponge sheets have a service temperature range of -10°F to 400°F however elevated temperature while under compression will have an adverse effect on the resilience of this material.
Available in .125”, .250”, .375”, .500”. Call for sheet sizes available in each thickness.
